The Light behind The Darkness

Sep 6, 2020 | 0 comments

I know you’re scared, anxious that life will never feel the same. You’re hopelessly drowning in sorrows, thinking it’ll stay this way forever, you’ll not get out of this void you’ve got yourself into. But that’s not how life is. Life always gets better, things get harder before getting easier. There’s always thunder before a rainbow. The sun always shines brighter after a storm and there is always light behind the darkness. All these negative feelings, these overthinking nights, they’ll get you nowhere. Peace is closer than you realize. Everything happens for a reason. This pain you feel right now, after losing someone, failing an exam or anything, it doesn’t last forever. You can always find a better person, you can retake that exam and however low life seems, remember, this too shall pass.

You’re a masterpiece of God, why do you underestimate yourself? You’re capable of changing the world. Don’t let yourself get down by some troubles you won’t even remember later on. Life is more than just pain and negativity. Spread it with good vibes, be with people who bring out the best in you, who urge you to aim high and succeed. Motivate yourself, understand that it’s all going to plan, but there always will be a few bumps in the way.

You know, I used to believe there’s just one obstacle in my way and then I’ll start living my life. After a while, I realized those obstacles were my life. It’s all about how you look at things. Life isn’t something you can control, plans don’t always go through and things take a mood unorthodox route than you would’ve liked. But it’s all for the best. Nothing in your life happens without any reason. For every cause, there is an effect. For example, suppose you had to board a plane but couldn’t for some reason. Later on you see that same plane crashed. Your thinking of how unfair life is over missing the flight was actually your life being saved. You are one of the greatest creations of God, think about that. Do not let a few setbacks push you down.

Something goes wrong? That’s okay, try to look on the bright side. Enjoy the little things that life gives you. You can’t lose yourself over problems like heartbreak or stuff like that. Going out with friends, enjoying time with family and giving more time to your hobbies, those are the kind of things you should do instead of lying in bed, overthinking. Stay strong, nothing can ever get you down. You’re a human who can do everything and anything that put their mind to. Live life as if it’s your last day and believe that there is light behind the darkness.
